Ashii an old gentle bull left us on Thursday night January 26th around 10:30 pm after has been sick by cold short time ago. Ahsii had many admirers and friends, who now linger in his area and at his gravesite each day, capturing his scent before it fades- committing it to memory. All elephants who were close to him are a bit more subdued and are coming to terms with his absence in their own ways. We were so proud to have him with us and are so deeply saddened to have lost him. Ashii will live forever in our hearts and minds.
