The Khamla Herd take the river route home
KhamLa and her herd can be seen in this video taking the river route home after a long day wandering freely around the valley at Elephant Nature Park.
During their walk, one of them smelled something under Pom’s floating dock and called her friends to investigate. The herd ran to discover more with a sudden sense of alarm. Elephant Nature Park staff later discovered a rat who had died underneath the deck.
Elephant’s exhibit compassion toward even the smallest of creatures.
