“I don’t want to get dirty but it is a bit cold now at our sanctuary then I need to get dry and warm after taking a river bath, I really love it”

Mae Sri Nuan enjoys a few moments to take a sand bath in the evening. Normally, the elephants put sand or dirt on their bodies, to keep parasites away or to help dry themselves after exercise or becoming wet. Once we look at our beautiful giants living their lived in a natural way, we realize that many other elephants need to get this chance as well.
