The elephants using their trunks to investigate the interesting object.
When the elephant find something interesting or strange, they will use their trunk to explore, sometime they will stand for hours and communicate to each other. The elephant trunk partly consist of the nose, it does not have the bones and consists of approximately 40,000 muscles. Elephants use their trunks as a hand for picking up the food or an object and of course they use is as an olfactory organ. Moreover the trunks serve as an indicator for the mood of an elephant. By its trunk the elephants smells at its con-specifics and at its environment. The trunk is an important means of communication.
