Buffalo herd rescued from slaughter now living in harmony at Elephant Nature Park
The ingenuity of the buffalo herd when crossing a turbulent river to return home.
Our rescued buffalo herd at Elephant Nature Park, were once destined for slaughter. These gentle creatures now roam freely, living in harmony with other animals living in the sanctuary of the park, relishing the open pastures and grazing in peace.
As the day draws to a close, prepare to be captivated by the harmonious sight of the entire herd crossing the river to find solace in their nighttime shelter. The herd displays incredible solidarity on display, as the larger, more experienced buffaloes take the lead, shielding the younger and smaller members from the river’s currents.
