Rescued elephants building new family bonds Elephant Nature Park Sanctuary

During a period of quarantine to adapt to their new environment, Mho Jae had the privilege of receiving an unrelenting visitor named SookSai, who sought the esteemed role of being nanny to the little boy, Sa Ngae. This is the first time that all three of them were able to be together outside of the quarantine area and were able to roam freely in a spacious area. Happy now to explore their surroundings, the three are building the bonds of trust and enjoying time well-spent together, especially when rolling in the mud pit during a heavy rain.

Rescued Elephants FahMui and Kanjana develop a deep bond at Elephant Nature Park

Beautiful story from our Founder – Saengduean Lek Chailert: In July of this year we rescued FahMui from southern Thailand, and a week later we rescued Kanjana who came from Pai. They were introduced on arrival, and an unexpected deep bond readily formed between them, so much so that they sheltered together right from the start. It seems likely that Fahmui became the mother who Kanjana never had.

Rescue of 3 elephants for safety reasons

Rescue of 3 elephants for safety reasons – arrival of Jenny , Thong Ae and Khun Yai

A grand welcome to three new girls to the sanctuary our Park: an Old grand mother named Khun Yai (70+ years old) , Jenny 8 years old , and ThongAe 2 years old. These elephants have just temporarily been moved to our home for safety issue reasons by Save Elephant Foundation. The owner leased them to a camp and now they want to take this elephant home. All three need to rest and we offer them a home for as long as is required. At Elephant Nature Park, any one who needs help, we can share our room to them and then we can see again in the future if the owner will allow these elephants to stay longer term. From today we will do our best for them.
