A full day visit to BOTH our special "Hands Off" projects SkyWalk AND Elephant Nature Park Single Day. Observe, in two separate locations, our rescued elephants living in their chosen herds and learn about their individual histories. Here, the elephants are free to interact and play in natural surroundings including the nearby river, custom built pools and mud pits.
Enjoy an elevated view of the small herds at our unique SkyWalk project.
Your visit starts with a picturesque drive through rural countryside to our sanctuary. On the drive you will learn about our model of compassionate care at Elephant Nature Park and some of the stories of our rescued and orphaned elephants.
Guests to SkyWalk and Elephant Nature Park can expect an unforgettable experience with elephants in a nurturing environment. Observe elephants living in their chosen herd as they socialize, eat, and play.
By visiting these two projects you are helping to support our herd and future rescue missions as well as helping to secure a better life for elephants at our regional projects.
How SkyWalk differs from Elephant Nature Park Single Day Visit
SkyWalk includes an additional herd viewing and walk in a separate area on an elevated boardwalk AND a visit to Elephant Nature Park. It is a longer visit and starts earlier.
Activities:
Start: 7:30am - 8:00am pick up from your Chiang Mai city hotel or start at officeno later than 7.30am. - (Please check map)
If you are staying out of town (outside Middle ring-road) additional charges apply. Please advise on your reservation form.
‘Hands Off’ Project: where the elephants roam freely as a herd and uniquely viewed from the SkyWalk.
Observe the Herd: Take a walk around the park and observe the elephants in their chosen herds and learn about their stories and special needs.
Lunch: Enjoy a delicious and varied vegan buffet of Asian and Western delights.
Observe Interaction: Observe the elephants socializing in their herds and playing in the mud pit or covering themselves with sand after bathing in the river.
Return: At 3:30pm it’s time to say goodbye to the elephants before the hour-long drive back to Chiang Mai where you will be dropped off at your hotel/guesthouse.
*Park visits are all about spending quality time observing and being with the herd. We do not adhere to a strict schedule. The best way to make the most of your visit is to relax, watch, and learn about elephants.
